
Meet this multi-talented performer, who works in all
areas of the entertainment industry, stage, film and
television.
Ms. Hamilton can presently be seen as Florence in the
award-winning film, "Boynton Beach Club"
, directed by Susan Seidelman. She just completed shooting
"Life's A Drag" and hosting
a national health and wellness television program. Television
audiences remember her as Sally Burgess on "As
The World Turns" and as Monique Riley
on "Miami Sands".
Janice Hamilton began her performing career in her home
town, Philadelphia. While studying theatre/communications
at Temple University, Janice represented her city in
the Miss America Pageant scholarship program. Shortly
after, she became the television spokesperson for the
"Philadelphia Phillies". Over the next several
years, she acted as a spokesperson for hundreds of Fortune
500 companies, including CitiBank, Buick, Aetna Insurance,
Pitney Bowes, Coca Cola, Shearing Plow and ReMax, to
name a few.
Some of her favorite New York and regional theatre credits
include the roles of Sally Bowles in "Cabaret",
Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls",
Lina Lamont in "Singin In The Rain",
Elvira in "Blithe Spirit",
Mona Kent in "Dames At Sea",
Jackie in "Don't Dress For Dinner",
Irene in "Crazy For You"
and Alaura in "City Of Angels".
In addition to performing, Janice uses her performing
talents to raise millions of dollars for non profit
organizations throughout the country as a licensed auctioneer
with her company, Hamilton Fund Raising Auctions, Inc.
